I really wanted to complete the challenge of 30 blog entries in 30 days. I planned to do it, I worried over it, and I tried really, really hard. BUT...

We are in the midst of the busiest two weeks of the year at my little part time job (where for the first time since I've started, I'm actually scheduled for over-time). Things are absolutely insane there. One of the women I work with, just had a baby - six weeks early. The new little guy is reportedly doing okay, but he only weighs 4.4 pounds. So small.

Another co-worker is on vacation - because it's deer season. Whatever. She returns on Monday when another co-worker goes on vacation. Oh yes, it's against company policy for people to go on vacation during this period of time, but sometimes people who are too comfortable in their positions push boundaries when they sense that no one will stop them.

I woke this morning to discover that my right hand was so swollen that I could barely make a fist. Something is wrong - obviously. I know that I need to take care of myself, but I'm hoping I can delay a trip to the doctor until after Thanksgiving. We'll see. I am doing what I can to doctor myself - Arnica and ibuprofen. And I've cut WAY back on my computer time.

So the blogging thing is taking a backseat to the rest of my life for a bit. I'm here in spirit though. What is that little bit? The spirit is willing but the flesh is weak...yes, I think that's about right.
