Our boxes of curriculum have arrived. Of course my girls don't think of all of those goodies as something as dry as curriculum. Stuff To Play With....yes, that's a much better description.
I do have to admit there is a special kind of excitement in the air at the thought of starting our new plans, and the shiny new books and brightly colored new "toys" only add to the sense of fun.
When I asked my daughter to put away the drinking straws and set the table for dinner last night, she responded with, "In a minute, Mom. I'm doing my math and using these as counters." Cool! Apparently she is ready to start...with our without me. And that's exactly how it should be!
